Medical Cannabis at Pharmhouse Wellness

Pharmhouse Wellness was founded on the belief that cannabis is medicinal, and this will always be an important part of our business. Casey Kornoelje, the owner of Pharmhouse Wellness, is a former caregiver who received two felonies when he risked everything and grew for his patients, despite the fact that it was still illegal and considered a Schedule 1 drug.
How can I purchase medical cannabis at Pharmhouse Wellness?

We have a menu for medical patients and a separate menu for recreational customers. Products on the medical menu can only be ordered if you have a valid medical marijuana card and a valid state ID. We accept out-of-state medical cards.

Medical marijuana cardholders can also purchase anything from the recreational menu, and will receive 20% recreational flower (excluding prerolls and pre-packed oz.), and 10% off all other recreational products. On our menu, medical products will be labeled {MED}, and recreational products are labeled [REC].

Why are there two separate menus for medical vs recreational?
Patients with a qualifying medical condition pay a 6% sales tax on cannabis products but they don’t have to pay an excise tax. Recreational customers pay a 6% sales tax and an additional 10% excise tax, making that 16% in taxation. There are also slight differences, depending on what state you’re in, where the dose limits between medical and recreational cannabis are different. For instance, in Michigan, recreational edibles can only go up to 100 mg of THC per package. With medical edibles, dosing of products is available up to 200 mg. Recreational marijuana is subject to less stringent testing requirements in Michigan compared to medical marijuana sold at a medical dispensary.

Tips from the Pham

Recommended Strain: Unicorn Breath cultivated by Blooming Botanicals

“The high starts almost as soon as you exhale, launching with an energizing effect through your mind. You’ll be filled with sociability and happiness with a a boost in creativity that gets your artistic juices flowing. A relaxing body high accompanies this happy boost, keeping you anchored without reducing your energy level. The aroma is gassy with a hint of cheese and berries. The Unicorn Breath strain tastes the same as it smells, very smooth. You’ll love the full nug structure with purple and olive-green tones, covered with kief and trichomes. This flower lives up to its name.”

I am so grateful for the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff at Pharmhouse Wellness. I was informed of the best options available to me for my needs… and the medicine worked perfectly for me. Loyiso patiently listened to what I was experiencing & needing relief for, then made a great recommendation that not only brought relief to my problem, but was gentle on my pocketbook.
